Hey everyone! I'm Rylie, and I've been working alongside Peter for the past five years. I have an Associate's Degree from Holyoke Community College along with a Bachelor's Degree from UMass Amherst in Fine Arts. I'm married to my best friend, Josh who I've known since we were kids! We have two cats: Reese and Bailey (We like to call them Uncle Reese and Baby Bailey). I have a love for gaming, particularly video games and board games. A few of my favorite foods include shepherds pie & Ice cream (we might have a serious addiction to ice cream. We always have some in the house!)
One of the things that drew me to Pearl ProVideo was Peter and his constant desire to create, learn, and try knew things. That is something I have always loved to do, and I'm constantly drawn to try something new. One new project that I'm working on is creating a paint brush case roll up from scratch. I'm also thinking about trying my hand at coin carving. Just like my side projects, we at Pearl ProVideo are constantly trying new things, pushing the limits of what we know and challenging ourselves to do better and better work. We can adapt to fit each clients individual needs with excited vigor.
I'm Peter McCue, and I am the proud owner of Pearl ProVideo. Pearl ProVideo was first conceptualized in the 1990's, when back then it was only a side job for me. A big shift in wanting to pursue this as a full time career came when I got the opportunity to work alongside Mike Peters during his political campaign. When my footage was aired on Public Access and gained Peters a lot of positive recognition, the event elevated my desire to do videography professionally.
I went onto working for Channel 3 News in 1996 as a fill-in position, to part-time in 1997 to then a full-time employee in 1998. During my first interview with the company, walking in and standing in the news edit room and seeing all the machines, lights and buttons… the idea of "this is it, this is what I'm meant to be doing" resonated with me.
While in the midst of working for Channel 3, Pearl ProVideo was being used as supplemental income for myself. Yet, the business wasn't my main focus.
In 2007 I became involved with Better CT with Scot Haney and Kara Sundlun, where I spent my first five years on set being the only videographer and editor. I leaned a great deal about multi-tasking and high production value, enabling me to
come up with an understanding on how to make higher end videos at a lower cost.
In 2013 I left the news industry to bring Pearl ProVideo back into the spotlight. As my business model, I want to be known as the video and marketing support system for all small businesses.
I want to help clients eliminate all the guess work in the beginning stages of creating a product, thus saving them more of their investment later down the road.
A video is not something you make… a video is something people watch.
Hello! My name is Kirslyn and I am the Marketing Director for Pearl ProVideo. I graduated from Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, NY in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Specializing in Equine Business Management. That’s right - I’m a horse enthusiast!
During my time being immersed in a heavily customer service and client based industry of equine enthusiasts, I gained a lot of experience working with a variety of clients with an array of needs. I learned how to communicate effectively and work with each individual, along with ways to promote a business for optimum satisfaction. Likewise, I took the role of overseeing my employer's social media platforms to keep relevant and up to date.
The summer of 2019 is when I decided to journey outside of the horse world. I moved onto working for small businesses where I was able to elevate my client relation skills along with the addition of more social media marketing and website assistance. Currently, I work as the Front Desk Manager of Thornton Martial Arts and Fitness in East Hartford, CT along with working with Peter and Rylie at Pearl ProVideo!
What drew me to Pearl ProVideo was the unique approach Peter takes to working with each client. He really makes the project about them, for them, and to highlight all aspects of their vision they wish to see in the video footage. His wide array of clientele allows Peter the ability to work with an array of different industries and people that give him more and more of an insight to what may work for one industry that may not be as visually appealing to another. He’s personable, committed, and ready to transform Pearl ProVideo into the client’s gateway to all support video production needs!
